Owls!
So one of my favorite things to do is repaint ugly things I find at antique stores, thrift shops, and garage sales. Whether it be furniture, picture frames, planters, or whatever else you can think of; spray paint is always my best friend! I have found myself utterly addicted to birds, owls, and frogs lately. I just can't get enough of them! I just had to post two things I have bought recently for less than $1 each. I was telling my Mom and Adam's Grandmother how I have been wanting one of those frog scrub holders from a zillion years ago and then about 2 days later I found one at a garage sale. He had awful painted on eyes, but I took care of it! Then I found these great owl bookends and painted them too! I think they are so stinkin' cute!

ReplyDeleteBoth the frog scrubber holder and owl book ends are so cute, great job!
Those look great. I like to do stuff like that too. I am currently working on a chair, but I have to hand sand the rest of it so I haven't touched it in like 3 weeks.
ReplyDeleteOh and you should see the dinosaur costumes I sewed Graham and I for Halloween. They were awesome.
Haha! Those are awesome! Who knew that ceramics class we did in Girl Scouts would have paid off for someone. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your owl bookends. I would definitely buy them if I saw them somewhere-fantastic job.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of spraypaint did you use?
